Malcolm Timothy Gladwell is an English Canadian journalist, author and lecturer. He has been editor of The New Yorker since 1996. He has published six books: The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference; Blink: The power of thoughtless thought; Outsiders: success story; What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures, a press collection from him; David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits and Art of Battling Giants; and tell strangers: what we need to know about people we don't know. His first five books were on the New York Times bestseller list. He is also a host of History of Podcast Reviewism and co-founder of podcast company Pushkin Industries. Gladwell's writings often refer to the undesirable effects of research in the social sciences, such as sociology and psychology, and at the same time with regular and prolonged use of work. . Gladwell was appointed a Member of the Canadian Line in 2011 .
