In 1998, he entered the field of modeling and fashion design on the catwalks with his haute couture Reverie-Manish Malhotra. He received praise for his glamorous outfits using the traditional colors, craft techniques, textures and embroidery featured on his first runway show in November 1999. In 2005, he launched the high-end fashion brand Manish Malhotra, specializing in the collection of bridal fashion, couture, television and menswear and retail at two stores. in Mumbai and New Delhi.
