Marcus LeMarr Allen is a former executive footballer and US analyst who played for the National Football Federation for 16 seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Raiders. Considered one of the greatest short-range scorers and runners in NFL history, he was selected by the Raiders in the first round of the 1982 NFL Draft, his 10th final, after a career in football. . He has been a member of the Raiders for 11 seasons and spent his final five with the Kansas City Captain. During his professional career, Allen ran 12,243 yards and captured 587 passes that were 5,412 yards long. He also scored 145 touches, including a league record at the time, 123 tackles in the race and was elected to six Pro Bowls. With Raiders, he helped the team win Super Bowl XVIII. He was the first NFL player to reach 10,000 yards and 5,000 yards of reception in his career.
