Martin Fourcade is a former swimmer and lieutenant of France. He is five times Olympic champion, thirteen world champion and seven World Cup champion in general. In February 2018, he was the most successful French Olympic athlete of all time. Fourcade is the all-time record holder for the World Cup title with seven big crystal balls and he is also the all-time record holder for the consecutive Grand Championship title with at least one medal of gold non-teammate in every major league between 2011 and 2018. On March 13, 2020, he announced his retirement after the 2019-20 season.
