Mason Cox is an Australian American professional soccer player who plays for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football Federation. Playing as a spoiler and key, he first played Australian football in April 2014 before making his AFL debut two years later in April 2016. Cox previously played basketball for State University. Oklahoma at the Big 12 Conference and standing at 208cm, is the tallest player ever measured in an AFL draw. Cox was born in Highland Village, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, USA, to parents Jeanette and Phil. He attended high school in Flower Mound, Texas. Cox is a student at Edward S. Marcus High School, and is part of the school's state championship football team. Boston Celtics player Marcus Smart attended the same school and he and Cox were later teammates. Cox studied engineering at Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2014. While in college, he started playing basketball as a hobby.
