With a fondness for music from a young age, he began recording in 1991 on a tape that became known as A Place to Hide Away. After playing with a variety of other artists, he formed Six Pence None The Richer in the early 1990s. They released their debut album in 1993 and earned international notoriety with the release of"Kiss Me" in 1998.
