Matthew James Thomas, sometimes also known as Matthew Thomas, is an English actor who has appeared in television, film and theater. He is known for his television roles including BAFTA and Emmy, The Lost Prince and the ITV music show, Britannia High. In the United States, Thomas is best known for starting out for his lead role in the 2013 Broadway revival, Pippin, which received the Tony Award for Best Musical Resurrection. He was also a late addition to Pippin's US National Tour in 2014. He made his Broadway debut in 2010 as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark directed by Julie Taymor, performance, with music from Bono and Edge from U2.
