Matthew Lyn Lillard is an American actor, director and producer. His early films included Chip Sutphin from Serial Mom, Emmanuel "Cereal Killer" Goldstein from Hackers, Stu Macher from Scream, Stevo from SLC Punk !, Brock Hudson from She's All That, and Billy Brubaker in Summer Catch. He has played Shaggy Rogers in two live-action films Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and in the cartoon he has been the voice of Shaggy since Casey Kasem left. retired in 2009. Lillard's follow-up roles in the film include Jerry Conlaine in Without a Paddle, Dez Howard in The Groommen, Joey in Home Run Showdown, and Jack Rusoe in Return to Nim's Island. While much of his work is humorous, Lillard has also shown drama in films such as The Descendants, Trouble with the Curve, Match, and Twin Peaks: The Return.
