Max Joseph is an American filmmaker and TV presenter. For seven seasons, he was the host and filmmaker for Catfish: The TV Show. He was absent from Catfish for several episodes of the fourth season to premiere the feature film We Are Your Friends, starring Zac Efron. Joseph has announced that he will be leaving Catfish: The TV Show in 2018 and that he will be replaced in 2020 by Kamie Crawford. Joseph has directed a number of films, including 12 Years of DFA: Too Old to Be New, Too New to Be Classic, Garden of Eden, Let's Harvest the Organs of Prison Death Row In, and several more.
