Madeline Jane "Maya" DiRado - Andrews is an American former competitive swimmer specializing in freestyle, butterfly, backstroke and individual. She attended and swam for Stanford University, where she won the NCAA title in the individual 200 and 400 yards in 2014 and earned her degrees in management science and engineering. At the 2016 US Olympic Games, DiRado was eligible to swim 200 meters and 400 meters of individual mix, as well as 200 meters of backstroke, at the 2016 Summer Olympics at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de In Janeiro, she won the women's 4x200 meter freestyle relay gold medal, the 400 meter individual content silver medal, the 200 meter individual women's 200 meter distance bronze medal, and the back 200 meter female freestyle content gold medal. After the Olympics, DiRado retired from the sports career.
