Mekia Cox is an American actress and dancer, best known for her recurring roles as Sasha in the second and third seasons of The CW 90210 television series and for her role as a dancer in the Michael Jackson concert series. This Is It and the movie related to This Is It by Michael Jackson. In 2010, she took on a supporting role in the short-term spy television series Undercovers directed by NBC J. J. Abrams. She is also known for her role as Princess Tiana in ABC fantasy drama Once Upon A Time and Detective Nyla Harper in ABC crime drama The Rookie and theatrical. Much of his early work was associated with Universal Studios and Nickelodeon. She continued her performing arts training in high school and university. She then toured the country in musicals, including Fame.
