Melanie Renée Schlanger, OAM, also known as the Married Melanie Wright, is an Australian freestyle swimmer. Melanie first represented Australia at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and her career spanned ten years, ending after the 2015 World Championships. She represented Australia at the Beijing Olympics. 2008 and London 2012 won five Olympic medals.
