Melina Nava Perez is an American professional wrestler and model. She is best known during her WWE appearance by the stage name Melina. She is currently fighting for the National Wrestling Alliance. In 2000, Perez began training to be a professional wrestler at the school of Jesse Hernandez's Hard Shoots, and made his debut in 2001. In late 2002, Perez auditioned for WWE's reality TV show Tough Enough III, but was eliminated in the first round and inspired by Al Snow to continue his wrestling career. In March 2004, Perez signed with WWE and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE's development territory, where she began managing Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury, nicknamed MNM, with three reigns with as WWE Tag Team Champions, as well as dual-reign Nitro as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Perez is a three-time WWE Women's Champion and a two-time WWE Divas Champion.
