Melissa Suzanne George is an Australian actress and businessman. Former national roller-skating champion and model, George started his acting career as Angel Parrish in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. After moving to the United States, George made his big screen debut in 1998 in the neoclassical / sci-fi film Dark City. She later appeared in Steven Soderbergh's The Limey, David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, Sugar & Spice, and Down with Love. In 2005, George switched to the lead role when she played the role of Kathy Lutz in the remake of The Amityville Horror. This is followed by a series of thriller genres such as Derailed, Turistas, WΔZ, 30 Days of Night, Triangle, A Lonely Place to Die and Felony. On television, George has had recurring roles in Alias, Grey's Anatomy, and The Good Wife, and a lead role in the NBC medical drama Heartbeat. She received a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Laura Hill on HBO's In Treatment.
