Meredith Louise Vieira is an American television journalist and television personality. She is best known as the original moderator of the daytime chat show The View, the daytime host of the daytime version of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire game show, and the co-host of NBC's Morning News. Today. She currently hosts a weekday aggregation game show of 25 words or less. Vieira has also contributed to Dateline NBC, Rock Center alongside Brian Williams and NBC Nightly News, and hosted the TV show Lifetime Intimate Portrait. From 2014 to 2016, she hosted her own registered day talk show, The Meredith Vieira Show.
