Michael Andrew Jace is a former American actor and convicted killer best known for his portrayal of Los Angeles Police Julien Lowe in FX drama The Shield. He also played the role of Andre Tibbs, a former murder accused, in an episode of Cold Case. On May 20, 2014, Jace was arrested after shooting and killing his wife, April Jace. A jury later found him guilty of second degree murder on May 31, 2016 and on June 10, 2016, sentenced him to 40 years of life imprisonment.
