About Michael Rubin

He is most known for founding the e-commerce startup Kynetic in 2011 and serving as its Chief Executive Officer. He is also the Executive Chairman of Fanatics, Rue La La, and ShopRunner, which are all subsidiaries of the company. He is also a co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils, among other things.

Michael Rubin is a resident researcher at the American Enterprise Institute. Previously, he served as an official at the Pentagon, where he dealt with Middle East affairs.

He was born and raised in the Pennsylvania town of Lafayette Hill. When he was 12, his mother and father enabled him to open his first business, a ski tuning shop, in their basement. In 2011, he began dating CNN news journalist Nicole Lapin.
