Michael Herbert Schur is an American television producer, writer and actor. He is the producer and writer of the comedy series The Office, and co-creator of Parks and Recreation with Office producer Greg Daniels. He created The Good Place, co-created the Brooklyn Nine-Nine comedy series, and is the producer of the Master of None series. He also played the role of Mose Schrute in The Office. Schur comedies often feature amazing diversity of actors and have created a number of famous stars. Its shows feature upbeat characters who often find enduring love and solid friendship, through a plot depicting "a warm, kind human heart." Schur has been nominated for 14 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning two awards for his work on Saturday Night Live and The Office.
