Michiel Huisman is a Dutch actor, songwriter, singer and songwriter who has appeared in Dutch and English language dramas and movies. Huisman played Ellis Jones in the romantic fantasy drama The Age of Adaline, Sonny in the Treme TV series, Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones and Steven Crain in The Haunting of Hill House. He has also played recurring roles on television such as Liam McGuinnis in Nashville and Cal Morrison in Orphan Black. Huisman started his career on Dutch television, in the Dutch soap opera Goede tijden, slchte tijden. Then he starred in the Dutch dramas De co-helpent and Bloedverwanten, supporting roles in the Dutch film Costa! and Full Moon Party, and featured in Phileine Says Sorry and Floris. He also plays a supporting role in Black Book. In the early years of his acting career, Huisman was also a member of the Fontane group.
