Mikael Kristian Gabriel Sohlman, known by his stage name Mikael Gabriel or MG, is a Finnish rapper. He has released five solo albums and has appeared as a guest on songs by artists such as Cheek, Lord Est, Robin and Uniikki. In 2016, Mikael Gabriel made his debut in the horror film Bodom, inspired by the Bodom Lake murders of the 1960s, and also appeared in Antti Jokinen's film Pahan kukat. He appeared in the fifth season of the musical reality TV series Vain elämää and was one of the judges for the second season of the 2018 Finnish X Factor X Factor. Mikael Gabriel's father is a Swedish speaking Finnish Sweden and her mother, Liidia, are Estonian. . His mother raised him as a single father and he only met his father when he was a teenager.
