Michael Dale Huckabee is an American politician, Baptist minister, bassist and political commentator, was the 44th governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007. He was the candidate for the presidential nomination of the Republican Party in 2008 and 2016. He hosted the conference show Huckabee competition, broadcast on Fox News Channel from 2008 to 2015, and broadcast in Spain since October 2017. He interrupted the show in January 2015 to explore a potential presidential candidate. From April 2012 to December 2013, he hosted daily radio show, The Mike Huckabee Show, on weekdays afternoons for Cumulus Media Networks. Huckabee is the author of several bestsellers, an ordained Southern Baptist minister known for gospel perspectives, a musician and a public speaker. He is also a political commentator on the Huckabee Report.
