Michael Craig Judge is an American animator, actor, voice actor, writer, filmmaker, and musician. He is the creator of the animated television series Beavis and Butt-Head, and co-creator of the TV series King of the Hill, The Goode Family, Silicon Valley and Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus. He also wrote and directed the films Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, Office Space, Idiocracy and Extract. Judge was born in Ecuador and raised in the US state of New Mexico. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego where he studied physics. After skipping a scientific career, Judge began to focus on animation and directing short films. One of them was developed in the hit MTV series Beavis and Butt-Head, ultimately creating a feature film from 1996, as well as the sub-series Daria.
