Miranda Katherine Hart Dyke is an English actress, comedian and writer. After receiving drama training at the Academy of the Performing and Recording Arts, Hart began documenting the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and appeared on various UK sitcoms including Hyperdrive and Not Going Out. Hart reached more audiences with his autobiographical semi-autobiographical sitcom Miranda, based on his previous BBC Radio 2 radio series Miranda Hart's Joke Shop. The TV sitcom produced three series and several Christmas specials from 2009 to 2015, and garnered it three Royal Television Association awards, four UK Comedy Awards and four BAFTA nominations. In 2012, she began appearing in the BBC television series Call the Midwife as Camilla “Chummy” Fortescue-Cholmondeley-Browne. She made her Hollywood debut in Paul Feig's film Spy as Melissa McCarthy's friend Nancy B. Artingstall.
