Indian all-rounder who rose to prominence as the captain of the Indian Women's cricket team. She competed in the Women's Cricket World Cups in 2000, 2005, 2009, 2013, and 2017.

Mithali Dorai Raj is an Indian cricketer and Test, the ODI captain of the National Women's Cricket Team. She was a right-handed starting batsman and occasional right-handed pitcher with a broken right leg. She is the top scorer in women's international cricket and the only cricket player to cross the 7,000 mark in women's international one-day matches. She was the first player to score seven points 50 in a row in the ODI. Raj also holds the record for the past half century in WODIs. In June 2018, at the 2018 Asian Twenty20 Women's Cup, she became the first female Indian tennis player to reach 2,000 T20I races, and also became the first female cricketer to reach the 2002 WT20I. 2005, she became the captain of the team. Raj is the only player to have ever been the captain of India in more than one ICC ODI World Cup final, doing so twice in 2005 and 2017. On 1 February 2019, in a women's match India and New Zealand women, Raj becomes the first woman to feature in 200 ODI matches.
