Mohamed Naser Elsayed Elneny is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Egyptian national team. Elneny started his competitive career in the Egyptian Premier League, before joining Swiss club Basel in January 2013. He has won eight trophies at Basel, including the Swiss Super League in each of his seasons. In January 2016, he was transferred to Arsenal.
