Monica Cecilia Abbott is an American professional softball athlete, former college All-American and silver medalist by Team USA Olympian, a left-handed softball player from Salinas, California. She played for Tennessee Lady Vols in college and professional in NPF, and in the Japanese Softball League. In international competitions, she has played for the U.S. team since 2005, including the national softball team which won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Abbott is the team that leads NCAA Division I in wins, strikes, losses and games.
