She was later cast in Brilliant Legacy, one of the most popular Korean dramas of 2009. 2011 marked a breakthrough in Moon's career, with leading roles in the TV series The Princess' Man and blockbuster action War of the Arrows; both are commercially successful and important. With her later performance, Moon won the Best New Actress award at the Grand Bell Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Other notable Moon dramas include horror film revenge against the Innocent Man and medical drama Good Doctor.
