Morgan Lenore Carroll is an American politician from Colorado and is currently Chairman of the Colorado Democratic Party. As a Democrat, Carroll represented District 36 of the Colorado House of Representatives in Aurora City from 2004-2008, and she represented the 29th District of the State Senate from 2009-2017. Carroll was the 29th District of the State State Senate from 2009 to 2017. President of the Colorado State Senate from 2013 to 2014 and Minority Leader in 2015. Carroll resigned as Minority Leader in July 2015, but failed to run against incumbent Republican Mike Coffman for Colorado's 6th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. In addition to legislative work, Carroll also worked for the law firm Bachus & Schanker.
