Nadia Sawalha is a British Jordanian actress, TV personality, TV chief and vlogger best known for her role as Annie Palmer in the BBC One opera EastEnders from 1997 to 1999. After winning the 2007 Celebrity MasterChef series , she has appeared in kitchen shows as a presenter and cook. Sawalha was one of the original presenters of ITV's talk show Loose Women from its inception in 1999 until 2002. She returned to the show in 2013 as a workshop participant after redesigning the host.
