Nadiya Jamir Hussain is an English chef, author and television presenter. She rose to fame after winning the sixth series of the BBC's The Great British Bake Off in 2015. Since her victory, she has signed with the BBC to host the documentary The Chronicles of Nadiya and the cookery television series Nadiya's British Food. Adventure and Nadiya's Family Favorites; co-presenters of The Big Family Cooking Showdown; and became a regular contributor on The One Show. Hussain is a columnist for Times Magazine and has signed publishing contracts with Penguin Random House, Hodder Children Books and Harlequin. She appeared as a guest on ITV's Loose Women show. She was invited to bake cookies during the celebration of Elizabeth II's 90th birthday. In 2017, Hussain was named one of the UK's 500 Most Influential People by Debrett's and on BBC News' 100 Women List.
