Nancy Ann Travis is an American actress. She began her career on the Off-Broadway theater stage, before starring in the ABC television series Harem miniseries alongside Omar Sharif. Her breakthrough came in 1987, when she played Sylvia Bennington in the comedy Three Men and a Baby, then she starred in its sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady. Travis has starred in many films including Internal Affairs, Air America, The Deceased, Chaplin, So I Married Ax Murderer, Greedy, and Fluke. On television, Travis continued to star in the 1995 CBS Almost Perfect sitcom, which spanned two seasons, and the short film Work with Me. In 2002, she starred in the ABC miniseries. Rose Red, and later joined the cast of CBS sitcom Becker for its final two seasons. From 2011 to 2017 and again in late 2018, Travis played Vanessa Baxter in the ABC / Fox sitcom Last Man Standing. In 2018, she began starring alongside Michael Douglas in Netflix's comedy series The Kominsky Method.
