Naseem Hamed, nicknamed Prince Naseem and Naz, is a former professional British boxer who competed from 1992 to 2002. He has held a number of furry world championships, including honors. WBO from 1995 to 2000; the title of IBF in 1997; and the WBC title from 1999 to 2000. He was also the linear champion from 1998 to 2001; Winning the IBO Championship from 2002 to 2003; and held the European bantamweight belt from 1994 to 1995. Hamed is ranked by BoxRec as one of the best British feathers of all time. In 2015, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Hamed is known for his unique boxing antics and spectacular arena entertainment, including stepping into the ring on a flying carpet, elevator and palanquin, as well as a re-enactment of Michael Jackson's Thriller video and a mask.
