About Neeti Mohan
She rose to prominence as a member of the Indian girl group Aasma after winning the reality show Popstars in 2003. Six years later, she performed on Music Ka Maha Muqabla and won again.
Neeti Mohan is an Indian singer. She mainly sings in films in Hindi, but has also performed songs in Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi and English. Born in Delhi, she was one of the winners on Channel V's reality show Popstars, which was later selected for Aasma, along with the other winners on the show. She rose to prominence after recording Student of the Year's "Ishq Wala Love", eventually winning the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and nominated for Best Female Rapper for "Jiya. Re" by Jab Tak Hai Jaan. . She performed six jazz tracks on Amit Trivedi's Bombay Velvet album, which received positive reviews from music critics. The following year, she received a second Filmfare nomination for the song "After Aasmaan" by Baar Baar Dekho.
