Nicola Adams is a former British professional boxer who competed from 2017 to 2019. She retired with an undefeated record and held the WBO female fly belt in 2019. As an amateur she became a female first boxer to become Olympic champion after winning a gold medal in London 2012, and the first double Olympic champion after a second gold medal at Rio 2016, both in the fly category. As of May 27, 2016, she is currently Olympic, World and European champion in the fly class, and has won her entire amateur championship - Olympic title, Commonwealth of Commonwealth and European Games, as well as the World, European and European Union championships. Adams represented the Haringey Police Community Club in boxing.
