Nikolas Wallenda is an American acrobat, airliner, reckless man, skipper and author. He is known for his performance on high ropes without a safety net. He holds 11 Guinness World Records for various acrobatics, but he is best known for being the first to walk on a zipper stretched through Niagara Falls. Wallenda hiked 1,800 feet on steel cables above the Masaya volcano in Nicaragua, his longest hike, March 4, 2020. Wallenda is a 7th generation member of The Flying Wallendas family, and he performed in numerous circus acts as a child. He started professional rope walking at the age of 13 and made his career in rope walking in 1998 after joining family members on a seven-man pyramid on the wire. In 2001, it was part of the world's first eight-person pyramid. He performed with his family in various venues from 2002 to 2005, forming his own troupe in 2005
