Niklas Landin Jacobsen is Danish handball for THW Kiel and the Danish national team. Previously he played for Rhein-Neckar Löwen. England are European champions with the Danish national team, having won the 2012 championship in Serbia, beating the host country in the final, 21–19. Niklas Landin is the captain of the Danish national team. In 2011 and 2013, he won a silver medal at the men's handball World Championship. In 2016, he was a member of the Danish team that won the Olympic gold medal. With the Danish national team, he won the Men's Handball World Championship 2019. He is the brother of compatriot THW Kiel and Danish international Magnus Landin Jacobsen. Landin Jacobsen was named 2019 IHF World Player of the Year.
