Croatian offensive midfielder who has played for clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian national team. In 2001, 2002, and 2004, he won the Croatian Cup with Dinamo Zagreb. In 2016, he joined the Rangers as a player.

Niko Kranjčar is a former Croatian professional footballer. He mainly plays in an attacking midfielder position, but can also act as a winger or second attacker. He played for clubs in his hometown, playing for Dinamo Zagreb before causing controversy when they switched to their fierce rival Hajduk Split in January 2005. He moved to England with Portsmouth soon after. There in August 2006, and after a few years of trying to keep their players key, Portsmouth decided to sell him at the start of the 2009-10 season, paving the way for a move to Tottenham in September 2009. where he was reunited with his former manager in Portsmouth, Harry Redknapp. He transferred to the Ukrainian side of Dynamo Kyiv in 2012, where he spent two years on loan at Queens Park Rangers, reuniting with Redknapp for the third time. He ended his career with brief stints in the United States with New York Cosmos and in Scotland with the Rangers before retiring in 2018
