After being signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, the former Oakland Raiders cornerback joined the San Francisco 49ers. He finished his career with 407 tackles and 15 interceptions.

Nnamdi Asomugha is an American actor, producer and former corner kicker. He played college football for the University of California at Berkeley and was included in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2003 by Oakland Raiders. He also plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. For many years it was considered one of the best stops in the NFL. In 11 years of his career, he has been voted All-Pro 4 times, including 2 times in the first team. Asomugha was selected as a member of Fox Sports's 2000-2009 NFL Team and USA Today's All-2000s Team, and is considered one of the greatest Oakland Raiders of all time. Asomugha has been highly praised by critics for her role as Carl King in the movie Crown Heights. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Independent Mental Award and he was nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actor in a movie. Variety named him one of the top seven artists of 2017
