Manuel Leuterio de Castro Jr., better known as Noli de Castro or "Kabayan" Noli de Castro, is a Filipino journalist, presenter and politician. He was elected to the Philippine Senate in 2001 after receiving the highest number of votes of all senators in the 2001 election. He was the 12th Vice President of the Philippines from 2004 to 2010, under his rule. The President at that time was Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. From May 2020, de Castro is broadcasting his two radio shows Kabayan and TeleRadyo Balita on TeleRadyo and TV Patrol on Channel ABS-CBN / Kapamilya. He is one of the key television figures supporting the war on drugs in the Philippines, led by the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
