Nwankwo Kanu OON is a former Nigerian professional footballer who played as a striker. He is a member of the Nigerian national team and has played for Nigerian national team Iwuanyanwu, Dutch team Ajax, Italy's Inter Milan and English clubs Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth. Kanu has won a UEFA Champions League medal, a UEFA Cup medal, three FA Cup medals and two African Player of the Year awards, among many others. He is one of the few players to have won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Cup and an Olympic gold medal. He has the third most substitution in Premier League history, appeared 118 on the bench, and is considered one of the best in African football history. He is also the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and the African Brand Ambassador for the digital television operator StarTimes. He is also the owner of Kanu Sports TV, an internet sports television company.
