Nyusha Vladimirovna Shurochkina is a Russian singer and songwriter. One of contemporary Russia's most popular musicians, Nyusha has released eight number one singles in Russia, holding the record for most. Daughter of former member Laskovyi Mai Vladimir Shurochkin, Nyusha began her career as a teenager, participating in New Wave 2008, where she placed seventh. She then signed with Warner Music Russia and released her first studio album Vybirat chudo in 2010; The album went on to produce four number one singles in Russia and Nyusha won Best Russian Acting award at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. Her second studio album Obedineniye was released later on. in 2014, produced four more winning singles and won again the award for best Russian play to Nyusha at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards
