Aurélien Cotentin, better known as Orelsan, sometimes stylized as OrelSan, is a French rapper, musician, record producer, actor and director. He released three studio albums: first album Perdu d'avance on February 16, 2009, second album Le chant des sirènes on September 26, 2011, and third album La fête est finie on May 20. October 2017. He is also part of the French hip hop duo Casseurs Flowters, with Gringe, with whom he released two studio albums: Orelsan and Gringe Casseurs Flowters in 2013, and the soundtrack to Comment their c'est loin 2015. Orelsan's rap technique and art has led him to many times compare himself to American rap legend Eminem, mainly because both are prominent white rappers and are both known for their alternating abilities or combines violent and humorous rap techniques.
