Pablo Javier Zabaleta Girod is a former Argentinian professional footballer who played at right-back. Zabaleta can function on both sides of the pitch as a full-back and is known for his stubborn style of play and has repeatedly been the club captain. With Manchester City, Zabaleta has won all the top trophies of English football: FA Cup, Premier League, League Cup and Community Shield. Prior to joining Manchester City, Zabaleta played for La Liga club RCD Espanyol where he won the Copa del Rey 2005–06. He made 333 appearances in nine seasons for Manchester City before signing with London club West Ham United in the summer of 2017.
