Pamela Adlon is an English-American actress, screenwriter, producer and director best known for her role as Bobby Hill in the comedy animated series King of the Hill, she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She also voiced Baloo in Jungle Cubs, starring in the video game Pajama Sam, Lucky in 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Ashley Spinelli in Recess and Brigette Murphy in Milo Murphy's Law, among others. Adlon is also known for her roles in the comedy dramas Californication and Louie, which she then wrote and produced with Louis C.K. Her work on Louie earned her four Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Since 2016, Adlon has starred as Sam Fox in the popular FX comedy-drama series Better Things, which she co-created, wrote, produced and directed. The film won the Peabody Award and she was nominated twice for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
