Park Ji-sung is a Korean former professional footballer who used to play in the midfield. He is currently the ambassador for the club Manchester United, with whom he played from 2005 to 2012. Born in Seoul, the South Korean capital, Park is one of the most successful Asian footballers in history, with 19 titles in his career. He was the first Asian player to win the UEFA Champions League, to make a UEFA Champions League final, as well as the first Asian player to win the FIFA Club World Cup. Park can be played anywhere in the midfield and is renowned for his exceptional physical form, discipline, work ethic and ballless movements. His level of endurance has earned him the nickname "Three Lungs" Park. Park started his football career in his hometown of Korea and played for the Myongji University team before moving to Japan to play for Kyoto Purple Sanga.
