Patrick Vinton Kirch is an American archaeologist and Honorary Professor of Integrated Biology and 1954 Class Professor of Anthropology at the University of California at Berkeley. At the same time, he is professor of anthropology at the University of Hawai'i Manoa. Former curator of ocean archeology at Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology and director of the museum from 1999 to 2002, he was a member of the board of directors of the Bishop Museum.
