Tajpaul Singh Chowdhry, also known as Paul Chowdhry, is an Indo-British comedian. He began his freelance career in 1998 and has hosted Channel 4's Stand Up for the Week comedy since Series Five, which is regular action for Series Three and Four. He was the first British artist to perform at the Caribbean Comedy Festival in Trinidad in 2003. He has been invited to eight of the 10 Cats and Comedy World Cups. In December 2012, he was one of the actors on an episode of Live at the Apollo. In 2016, he was one of the contestants for the comedy show Taskmaster. In 2017, he was a guest artist on The Russell Howard Hour. In 2020, Chowdhry appeared in the TV series Devil. It uses the signature phrase "what's going on with whites?" when starting his habit of getting up.
