Paul Stanley is an American musician, singer and songwriter best known as the co-founder, leader, rhythm guitarist and co-singer of the rock band Kiss. He's the writer or co-author of many of the band's most popular songs. Stanley created the Starchild character for his character Kiss. Hit Parader ranked him 18th on the list of the 100 best metal voices of all time. A reader poll on Gibson.com also named him 13th on their list of the top 25 leaders.
