Shore started his career as a comedian at the age of 17, before becoming an American comedian before becoming an actor. became MTV's VJ in 1989. This led to the lead role in the 1992 comedy Encino Man, which was a modest success. It was followed by roles in other films including Son in Law and Bio-Dome.
