Petra Maria Mede is a Swedish comedian, dancer, actress and television presenter. She was born in Stockholm and raised in Gothenburg. Mede is known for her roles in comic book shows and television presenter. She is best known outside Sweden when she hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, co-hosted the Best Song Contest of the 2015 European Song Contest, as well as the 2016 edition.
